The autumn wind howled through the bamboo forest as Li Fei tightened his grip on the chipped sword. “You really think you can take me down with that rusted scrap?” sneered the bandit leader, twirling his twin hooks. Li Fei spat blood to the side. “Tch. Talk big after you survive three moves.” In a flash, his blade hummed—steel met steel, sparks flying like fireflies. The bandit staggered back, his fancy hooks now notched beyond repair. “Damn... you're no ordinary swordsman!” Panting, Li Fei wiped his brow. “Told ya. Now scram before I change my mind about leaving witnesses.”
